Kellyville is the home of Obsidian's weekly junior volleyball program in the Hills. Term classes run at Kellyville High School, on the corner of York Road and Queensbury Avenue — a venue most local families already know, with indoor courts and parking right at the gate. For Kellyville families, it's about as convenient as junior sport gets: a short trip down the road, twice a week, with coaching pitched at your child's level.
Classes run Tuesday (beginner) and Wednesday (intermediate), 4:00 to 5:30 PM, for juniors aged 8 to 18. We group players by ability rather than age, so a Kellyville eight-year-old picking up a volleyball for the first time and a teenager already playing school competition both get a session that suits them. Coaches all hold current Working With Children Checks and most have played at NSWCHS, state, or premier-league level — they're not gap-year casuals.
Junior volleyball is still emerging in Kellyville, and there are limited places to train outside of the school competition season. Obsidian's term classes are built for exactly that gap: structured, weekly coaching with the same team and a clear progression across the term. Complete beginners are genuinely welcome. Bring volleyball-suitable shoes and a water bottle, and we'll take care of the rest.
